on! unless it's daylight and i can see without the lights, lol. i'm a visual person, and i'm afraid of the dark. so always lights on! plus i want to see what im doing.
i don't mind candle light or dim lights though.
i've never understood why some people want to have sex in the dark,unless its a sensory play thing, in which case use a mask or blindfold

It doesn't matter to me. Usually it happens on more often than off because my boyfriend likes the view.

We prefer it with them on or natural light coming in so that we can see each other. However it's not unusual for us to decide to do it right after we turn everything off to go to sleep so we also do it in the dark.

off one of us always seams to be bothered by the light in our eyes, but candles are nice
