I've looked to see if there was a thread about this and I couldn't find one. Could someone explain to me what that means? Other than gay/lesbian,bisexual, straight, transgendered....I don't know beyond that. Could someone educate me, please?

definition: Not limited or inhibited in sexual choice with regard to gender or activity.


Here is an answer from yahoo questions:

Bisexuals like people who fit the gender roles of female and male. This excludes intersexed, transsexual, genderqueer, or gender nonconforming people. Pansexual (pan meaning all) means to love all people whether they fit into a gender role or not.

I guess I could have easily searched on yahoo for that (doh!).

That makes perfect sense, and I greatly appreciate you answering that for me. I had seen it here and there on this forum and had never heard of it before.

In addition to this, some people who are pansexual don't include transgender persons, which is why some (like myself) are what is called skoliosexual as well as pansexual, meaning the inclusion of someone who is transgender
