Since I had decided to build a future with C (including having a child), I've been reading everything I can about family life and all that schtick.

What came up was reading about how some men who are disgusted/weirded out by the birth act and they completely lose sexual interest in their wives/mates because "A BABY came OUT of there!" It's suggested that they had issues about the Madonna/Whore Complex. Although I know C had a relationship with an ex who already had a kid, he never witnessed her giving birth. I intend to ask him about this when we meet up again.

Anyway, has it happened to anyone here on EF? Or know anyone this has happened to?

I know that some men are bothered by it, but it was never an issue for me. I've vaginally birthed three children, two with my ex husband and one with my husband now. It's a little scary to watch it, especially because it's hard to believe something that large can come out of something so small and have the ability to bounce back into shape. I think the concern at first is that you won't be tight enough after. The reality is, that while it might take a little bit, you don't end up with a gaping hole in the end.

My husband didn't lost any sexual attraction for me and we were both anxious to get back into having sex on a more regular basis.
