Recharable or Battery Powered? Which would you rather your high quality toys to be?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
Okay, I have gone down this road before, but not this plain and simple.

ALL the high end toys I am buying now are "rechargeable". I wish they were battery powered or that there was a battery option. I cannot keep all these toys plugged in and when I want to use them, they are dead..unless I specifically plan ahead and plug that toy in the night before.

I know I cannot be alone on this...so, Who would rather have their high end toys be "rechargeable" or "battery".

Feel free to just answer, if you want, but writing that one word in your response....."recharge able" or "battery".

Thanks.

I think I'd go with batteries for most toys and maybe one or two rechargeable or plug-ins (since managing to keep one or two good toys recharged isn't nearly as difficult as managing, say, 10 rechargeables). While batteries can get expensive, they make toys a little easier to use without prep and when you factor in the possibility of just buying and using rechargeable batteries, that problem pretty much goes away.

Rechargeable, hands down. I have no problems keeping my toys charged. I know about how long each of my toys lasts on a charge keep a pretty good rotation and can usually get more than 1 use out of each toys. More out of my Lelo's. I know I have to charge MiMi after every 2 uses, or after each one if it's a particularly long session. I hate having to deal with batteries, the expense and having to remember to keep them stocked, ugh. I love my rechargeables.

Rechargeable one seem to be the stronger ones so I guess I prefer them.

Definitely the rechargeable. The trick is knowing the limits of the toys charge. Or you could just treat them like a phone and plug it in to charge before bed every night.

I prefer rechargeable. To me it's simpler to plug a toy in when needed than to remember to have extra full batteries lying around.

We now have 22 rechargeable toys. Who can keep up?

See..that is where we differ. I have a drawer full of each size batteries in our spare bedroom. About 100 of each size at any time. It keeps us in good shape for power loss during hurricanes and storms.

Rechargeable. I cannot afford to buy batteries all the time, especially if I spent a ton of money on a really good toy. I understand that would mean that I'd have to plan ahead more, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
