Sorry if this has been discussed to death, but do you and your significant other exchange steamy photos or films of yourselves? I never thought I'd be so into it (perhaps I'm a narcissist after all...), but with a long distance relationship, it really seems to hold us over since all we can do intimately is via the internet. Plus, it's sexy to feel so trusting, I think. But of course, it's a risky thing to do, if you don't want naughty photos of you floating around the internet or used against you. So what do you think?

I text my husband pictures all the time. Since nearly everyone I know has seen me naked anyhow, I'm not really concerned about it.

Eh, he rarely reads my texts right away and when he's asked for pictures, it's at a bad time. When we lived apart, we'd video Skype and slip a bit of skin in.

I have done this and have had it turn out BAD like VERY BAD my ex sent my nude pics to an underage boy an the cops told me there was NOTHING I could do. Mind you the guy's dad is a probation officer for sex offenders an he sent the underage child my nude pics with my face in them from his dad's computer. I do this from time to time with my new partner but my face isn't in any of them unless I am fully covered.

Did your ex get into trouble? Isn't it illegal to distribute pornography to minors? I think people who violate a person's trust and distribute such intimate photos or videos are such scum. I don't care how pissed off you are at your ex--are you really so petty, pathetic, and downright shitty to do that to someone? Then you deserve to have your tiny heart and fragile ego shattered--repeatedly.
Might sound odd, but good for you for not letting that incident get in the way of sending things to your new partner, face hidden or not. I look at it as sending love letters...even if it's not "love" in the traditional sense...it's an intimate act that suggests total trust and affection, intended to be between two people, unless specifically stated otherwise. Never let a vindictive ex ruin your love life or sex life, I say--and to hell with what everyone thinks in the meantime.

I share photos, but not videos. I have a huge amount of trust for the people I have relationships with, and they extend the same trust to me. Plus, I have a security app for my iPhone so I can keep naughty photos that get texted to me in a safe, password-protected secret folder.
