I personally have not tried it. However, I am on dating apps where couples seek a third. The most sexual one I'd recommend you try is AFF-adult friend finder, I see them on Tinder as well. Good luck and enjoy!!!

All the threesomes (or moresomes) I've been in just kind of....happened. I had a bit of a wild youth, so some form of intoxicant was usually involved, I'd be hanging out with friends, the situation would take a sexual turn, and we'd all just sort of roll with it. I had some great experiences and have no regrets, but I'm not sure I'd recommend going about having a threesome that way on purpose, haha.
It all just depends on what you and your partner are comfortable with. If I were to have a threesome in the future (at some point in the future when I have a partner), I'd probably want the third to be someone we both already know and feel comfortable with. But that's just my preference. I've always felt comfortable with casual sexual encounters between friends....but not so much between strangers.
Others may find it more awkward to have the third be someone in your social circle that you'll have to see and interact with afterwards. If that's the case for you, then nikywolfe's suggestion of trying to find a third on a dating/sex site or app would probably be a good place to start. That's not something I'd feel especially comfortable doing, but everyone's different.
I think the most important thing is to have a frank and honest conversation with your partner about what you're looking for, what you expect, and what you're comfortable with, and whatever decision you make, be sure to make it together.

If you're looking for a guy, take your pick on any online platform and dudes will be lining up. Just honestly describe what you're looking for. Online platform membership trends in different areas, so hunt around.
If you are Unicorn hunting, try OkCupid and describe what you're looking for. Its usable for free. There are quite a few non-monogomous people on there. Fetlife and Tinder can be mined as well. Also free.
Or step up to meeting another couple and increase your odds exponentially. Quiver is the only site we had luck on as a free member. Adultplayground just bought a bunch of sites and may be usable for free. If you're willing to pay try SDC, SLS, and Kasidie- paid membership sites have a lot more dedicated users, and weeds out the tire kickers and gawkers substantially. Making it worth the price, because it saves you from wasting a ton of time.
You can set up free accounts on the pay sites to see if people are near you, you just have severely restricted ability to communicate or see many pics. There are some singles on there as well.
