Turrning down sex while in a relationship.

Contributor: Bex1331 Bex1331
When you're in a relationship and you ask for sex in whatever way you do (be it verbally or just by starting some foreplay) and your partner turns you down does that bother you or do you understand that they just simply may not be in the mood?
Are you ever the partner that says "no"? Do you feel guilty doing so or are you comfortable doing so?

I turn her down more. We feel it's best to turn the other down when we aren't feeling it. We don't want anyone to feel like its forced or a "chore."

My wife is the one doing the 'not now' routine. Mostly I'm OK with it - sometimes I'll push a little - usually on the weekend. After 23 years, we're pretty good at taking care of one another. Sometimes when she's not in the mood - she'll give me a nice BJ or HJ. It makes her feel good to take care of me. I'd do the same for her, but I'm always in the mood!
