Do any not-obviously sexy things arouse you? I'm turned on by the smell of bleach. It goes back to my first sexual experience, when his undies smelled like bleach. Now every time I smell bleach, I remember that experience. Pavlov would be proud, don't ya think?

Omg! The smell of bleach? That is really interesting. I have never heard of this turn on before! Boy you'd have been in heaven at my house today then. Lol. I went on a cleaning rampage -- bleach everywhere!

I don't really think any strange things turn me on. I love the smell of kid's glue, construction paper, scotch tape and more weird items, but they don't turn me on. I just enjoy sniffin' em. Lol.

I can so see what you mean now though! I also have said my partner's come smells like bleach! How neat. But I can't say smelling of bleach really turns me on. A little too strong.

Geek talk. I was notorious for it back in high school, which everyone thought was bizarre and abnormal. Turned out I was/am sapiosexual (turned on by intelligence in others), so it's not that unusual.

And I have a thing for thunderstorms. They get me hot and bothered.

I have a thing for really shitty, piece of junk cars. Rusty, mismatched colors, mismatched parts....I see a hot guy in a jalopy and it makes him strangely hotter....

Guys wearing kilts turn me on...but that's not so weird....

BTW, I think of Pavlov all the time! (Basically whenever the smell of leather turns me on. Leather isn't a weird turn on, is it?)

I get turned on when someone reminds me of someone who provides me with good sex. Like, if I see someone who walks like one of my partners, or has the same-shaped head, it turns me on (I pay a lot of attention to posture and the way people walk).

I agree with the geek talk. My boyfriend isn't very good at it for being an engineering major but to hear a guy talk about a subject and totally know his stuff is such a turn on.

Seeing a man kneel - which perhaps isn't so odd, but to me it seems strange because I'm not of a dominant personality. Something about a guy kneeling, especially if he's strong, makes my tummy get all warm inside.

I don't think bleach would do anything for me, except for how it reminds me of the experience I had. I should probably be grateful he didn't smell like motor oil or onions or something!

As a reforming highland games addict, I have seen the power of the kilt before! I'd probably wear one every day if I could!

And I drive around in a beat-up, 20 year old car sometimes (it's our "utility" vehicle, when we need to carry stuff home from the hardware store, etc). Never imagined it could be a turn on.

And yeah, a lot of people are into leather. I definitely think that's because it's so often linked with sex, especially kinky sex. I think most of our not-obvious turn-ons are kinda Pavlovian, things that remind us of good sex.

I could do a whole other discussion on strange musical turn-ons...but that's for another day and for me it's basically the same thing--songs that remind me of good sex. Ah, good sex!

Smoking turns me on like crazy. Seeing a sexy woman smoke makes my day, I know it is illogical, because I hate the idea of someone I love being unhealthy. But, damn it's hot.

Imperial Leather soap! It's a convoluted path but when I was young I loved getting cuddles from my grandmother, she always smelled of Imperial Leather and I found it comforting. Fast forward a few years to my first proper sexual experience with another female, when I went down on her I found she smelled of Imperial Leather "down there" (she had obviously washed just before we went to bed) and the memories of my gran came back. Not quite sure why, but the song "My Favorite Things" popped into my head as I read your list!

All of these are awesome. In fact, I think everybody's turn-ons are awesome. Wouldn't it be incredibly boring and stale if everybody was turned on by exactly the same thing?
