Waterbed Sex...

Contributor: Shellz31 Shellz31
I have considered getting a waterbed for some time now. But I have always been curious as to what sex is like on a waterbed.
For those who have tried - is it more difficult due to the water movement?
In my mind, I tend to think it might frustrate me.

I've never had sex on a waterbed, but I've studied and rolled around on one a lot (a friend's). It did NOT seem like something easier to screw on, but then again I think she might've just filled it incorrectly. :/

it's lovely and Sigel says it's like getting two for every thrust!

Never owned one, always thought it would make it more difficult for some reason.

When hubby and I first moved into a house together we got a waterbed and I swear it made me seasick to have sex on it. Sleeping on it was just fine but not sex. Funny thing is I don't get seasick on a boat but that darn bed liked to kill me.

I don't like it as much... you lose some of the thrust with each... thrust.

Lol - I would be a little worried about it popping too if ya got too wild.

Airen Wolf - Makes it sound like fun. Is it noisey with the water sloshing around? I know ya can get some that have more of the fibre stuff in them to make it a little firmer.

SexyTabby - I do get seasick... but it's not the movement that bothers me - it's being totally surrounded by so much water that gets to me...lol.

It's certainly always intrigued me. Maybe I should hunt down someone who has a waterbed I can check it out with...hehehe.

Sounds way more annoying than fun. Not only that, i like to sleep on STABLE surfaces, so no waterbeds in my future, ever! Especially since I live where we get a lot of quakes, so anything I'm on and it's moving makes me extremely paranoid.

I've had several waterbeds over the years.

Most recently I had a waveless pillow top mattress. It is very firm and you don't feel any wave action. Sex on this type is similar to a normal mattress.

The single water chamber type mattress I had early on was the one you feel the full wave action on. It was very difficult for us (my wife and I) to have sex on, especially for me being on top. Trying to roll over is difficult because your body is lower as it pushes the water to other areas of the mattress. Trying to kneel is also difficult.

The best part of all the waterbeds I had was the heater. Living in cold climates, it was very comforting getting into a warm bed.

I've slept in one and didn't like but I've never tried to have sex in one although I can't see how you'd get a good "grip" and "traction" for some of the more intricate sexual moves... not as good as a regular bed anyway.

I can barely even move around or even get out of a waterbed.
I think I'll stick to a regular bed. lol

Water beds make me nervous. I always worry that they're going to burst open and get water everywhere.

I too had a waterbed when hubby and I were first married. I loved it.. even more fun if you stripped sheets off and ahem lubed up. We still had it after I had our baby and it was great for lulling little man off to sleep before we could have some fun.

Waterbeds aren't all bad, the motion can be fun but they aren't so good for anything involving kneeling as you kinda sink into the bed.
