I hope this doesn't come off as rude because I don't mean it to, but Carrie Ann actually did a great poll for this over here a few months back. It's good to just search the forums before posting so they don't get cluttered with repeat posts.

I don't see how two dudes or two chicks getting hurts anyone, so it doesn't bother me. I'll allow it (Ironically quoting a judge....)...seriously I do think it would be allowed.

Personally I dont see a problem with it. I dont think I could ever do it, but if someone wants to why not.
I think people spend way to much time on it. I think theres more important issues in life that need attion

I find it a laughable feat of mental gymnastics that some people think that by participating in the institution of marriage, same-sex couples will destroy said institution. Wouldn't it be more of a threat to marriage if couples were instead taking the stance that it is a meaningless, outdated practice and refusing to participate? Isn't it more of a "threat" that more and more couples are having children, raising families, living together with no plans of marriage? No, it's the people who want to BE married that are somehow hurting marriage... I love it that the "Defense of Marriage Act" limits the number of couples that can be married... it's so defended now!
I have a gay brother, and it pisses me off that I can get married and he can't. He wants to be married just like anyone else, but because some people don't like the kind of sex he has, it's not allowed.

Obviously within the catholic church or any other church that doesn't approve of gay marriage it shouldn't be allowed. No one can change a church's policies. But I believe gay people should be allowed to get legally married away from the churches. And if I'm not mistaken this is what they are asking for is a legal marriage outside of the churches.
