My parents were very strict and weren't open about sex at all when I was growing up. They pretended like it didn't exist. It wasn't until I was in 3rd grade that I started learning about sex from students in my class. How crazy is that? Innocent 3rd graders. All through my elementary years and highschool years I learned about sex from my friends. My parents never sat me down and gave me "the talk".
I for one would like to be open with my children and make sure they aren't ashamed to talk to me about those personal things. I want to educate them about all things sex so that they don't receive false info from their peers. How about you?
