Any suggestions on where I should hide three closets and a couple night stands FULL of adult toys...as we are going to have a house full of out of town and out of nation guests in for a wedding...living in our home for two weeks?

I was actually going to rent a small "storage bin" place, but they are not cooled or heated and I was worried my electronic toys could suffer from high heat and humidity. Air conditioned ones are many hundreds a month.

I don't have a lot of garage space, so I cannot put them in a dozen big plastic bins and put them out there either (they would also then be exposed to horrible heat). Attic also out for that reason.

Anyone else had this problem???? Where did YOU hide those toys???

If they are in your private bedroom, in drawers and such... they shouldn't be digging through there in the first place.

If there will be children coming, simply shut your door and leave it at that.

Find space in the basement?

This has never happened to me. I have my lube out all the time and will need to put it away when we have guests but I do not have closets full of toys. I mean,I have lots of toys but I get rid of what I don't use, I don't like to pile or collect things if I am not going to be using them. So, it really got to the point where I had to worry about ppl finding them.

I have no idea what could be done. Perhaps you have a good friend with a lot of space who wouldn't mind to hold onto your collection.

When my boyfriends parents were here for a little over a week we just stuck everything in boxes in the closet. They didn't even open the closet.

A dozen plastic bins? WOW! (I'm picturing the 18-22 gallon Rubbermaid ones.) I thought we had a lot of toys. Do you have too many to get a small safe and lock them in there? You can get either a briefcase style safe (probably half a dozen full sized dildos and vibes or more smaller toys could fit in one) or a full sized safe for around $100.00. Target has them. Gun safes run around $300.00, but they are big. link

We keep out toys in Eden Bags, Sugar Saks, a Devine Toy Chest, Lockable Toy Chest (it's small, though) and just toss the containers in our drawers and closets. We've never had anyone stay in our house, though.

Do have have a closet or Hope Chest that locks? You could put them in there and any decent person wouldn't try to open a locked closet or chest.

You could always get a trunk and put it in the closet? Personally I wouldn't think that they'd be digging through your bedroom!

Oh, I like the trunk idea. And if you couldn't fit it in a closet, you could get a more attractive one with a lock and put it anywhere that you have space. Same thing with a Hope Chest. Depending on the design you choose, it could be used as a coffee table in a living room/den/finished basement, or at the foot of your bed if you have room.

Ok Bignuf! It sounds like we may have to have an intervention at your place. You are sex toy hoarders Hehehehe, I'm kidding. But, it does sound like you have quite a few toys to hide. Put them in the bins and then put big yard bags over them and tell people they are stuff for goodwill or something.

I would try to get the large bins and store them in the basement or put them back into the closets. Most people will assume that your storing out of season or old clothes that you didn't want to get rid of.

Now may also be a good time to down grade your stash. Throw away your unloved and unwanted toys.
