Although it is rare, it is possible to get an air embolism blowing air up there.

Not when it's just a queef waiting to happen! (I've never heard of an air embolism but I'm sure it could happen and a doctor's advice always overrides the peanut gallery here on the forum )

A little queef shouldn't hurt you. On the other hand, blowing into the vagina or using inflatable toys in the vagina (they are meant for anal use only) can cause an air embolism. They are more common while you are pregnant, but they can happen any time, as the vagina is a very vascular organ.

As other people said, as long as you aren't intentionally putting air into your vagina, then you're fine. Any air that comes in as a result of intercourse will come out eventually. Might make an unflattering sound, but it will come out.
