You can always get pregnant, unless you don't have the organs for it.

I think I've read someplace that there is ONE day a month when you are for sure not capable of getting pregnant, but it is nearly impossible to tell which day it is. And it happens BEFORE your period.

When a woman ovulates the chances are greater, but you can in fact get pregnant anytime of the month.

Yeah, I know some people do that, but I also know that people get pregnant under all sorts of unusual circumstances, including on their periods. It's not that uncommon at all and it does happen.

I'm pretty sure your question is answered at this point. But again, yes, you absolutely can get pregnant from period sex.

Its because many women ovulate at random times. Sperm can stay alive in your body for several days after sex, so if you ovulate again suddenly then you can get pregnant.

At the beginning of your period too it isn't impossible to fertilize the egg your body is supposed to be getting rid of. Its not common but it can occur.

You can but very unlikely..I've used cycle beads for 6!!!! Years no with no problem. When I did want to get pregnant the cycle beads made that happen first try as well.

Sex is made for procreation and the body def. sends out signals when the body is about to engage in sexy times! The body doesn't know you just want pleasure, it's primal for the body to just want to get preggo whether YOU want to or not.

Periods are a trap for people thinking they are safe. It might be a safe week for some people, but there are always exceptions and the body is a beautiful thing when it comes to conception.

I've recently was reading about this and its slim chance of getting pregnant while your on your period, because your not ovulating then your body is releasing the unfertilized egg. And your more likely to to get pregnant 2 weeks agter the first day of your period.

I actually have "your fertility signals" by Merryl Winstien sitting right next to me at the moment.

The reason it's not considered "safe" is that the blood can hide fertile mucus, so it can be hard to tell whether or not you're fertile.

This book says that on the last day of your period, when it can be considered "spotting", if you are otherwise dry, you can consider yourself infertile.
---------
Saying you can get pregnant any time is ridiculous. You can get pregnant if you have sex during the few days before ovulation, while fertile mucus is present to protect the sperm until you ovulate until 4 days or so after you've ovulated, at which point your body temp. will spike.

The trouble isn't that you can get pregnant "anytime",it's that these days many womans cycles are super wonky due to all the stress, and crazy hormones in our food, and artificial lighting while we sleep.

For years I believed this. Luckily, I never got pregnant.

i would say no.

1) the uterus needs to be lined with tissue strong enough and vascular enough to for a fertilized egg to implant.

2) with the blood leaving the body, were an egg to get fertilized it would likely come out with the blood.

3) i am not sure if the sperm can swim upstream

4) can the sperm survive in the blood?

5) an egg is not likely to be dropped down this time of month

Okay, I'm totally confused--how did you get pregnant four times in one month??

You can get pregnant anytime of the month, depending on when your ovulate.
