My best friend over in PA recently lost 80lbs+, before he lost the weight, sex was near non-existent with him in his relationship. He had no energy to do it and found it challenging physically. After he lost the weight and continued to eat healthy and work out in light routines, well lets just say, sex is no issue no more.

For me, I would say yes it increases my sex drive. Now I just need to get my lazy ass working out again!

You don't have to be obese or a couch potato to benefit from exercise. Getting the blood moving and muscles pumping has a very positive impact on my desire - and effectiveness.

But I'd like to add that prolonged aerobic activity has the reverse effect. It tends to suppress my immune system - and libido.

As a result I prefer weight and resistance training.

Hell yes it does. It increses stamina and basicaly makes you feel better about yourself. If you feel good on the inside and look good on the outside you just want to fuck something. It's self impowerment really...I think I just butchered that word! God this thing needs spell check...

It most definitely does! I can feel the effect almost immediately, and in general. Not that I needed it....

Working out does a lot for your body and attitude in a positive way, I know several guys that will say if that don't work out (when working out is a part of their daily routine) they feel sluggish and uncomfortable, but when they do work out it is the total opposite. When my sex drive is down I like to increase my physical activities to more than just the bedroom...so yes I think it does.

Yeah, I think it does. It just makes your body work better in most ways, especially if your working out in a healthy way and not over doing it.

There are a lot of factors, but the short answer is "yes". Be it increased self-esteem or the mix of chemicals released when you work out, you'll feel better all around, which can only mean good things for your sex drive.

At least from my experience it does... I'm normally in the mood immediately after working out even, but that might just be the runner's high.

Increased blood flow increases your bodies ability to create hormones, which directly affect sex drive.

Exercising increases heart rate, which increases blood flow.

Working out completely increases my sex drive. It gets my blood pumping so my body feels good.

It can go both ways. If I over-train it kills my sex drive completely.

It increases your energy level and makes you have better confidence, which could lead to being more horny
