i am a massage therapy student at the end of my schooling, as i am getting ready to take my adventure into this big bad world I keep hearing comments from people about people asking for happy endings. Yes i know the stigma of this profession is that all people in this field end their massage with a happy ending.

I just want to know is that what people really think about when they hear of some one receiving a massage or giving a massage?

Honestly it isn't too terribly common in a lot of areas to even be asked, and it's not really something people LIKE to ask unless they just know it is offered, because in a lot of places it is illegal. Honestly I don't think you'll have to worry I know a lot of people in the field and they've never been asked.

yeah they told us in class that if some one would call about that the first thing you do is call the cops...lol don't know if i would do that.. I don't think I have to worry about it either I mean these days i think people know it is illegal i was just wondering if that is what people still think of when they hear some one is getting a massage. I get teased all the time about it from my hubby and his friends

It's actually very common here. There are many "Spa" places and these are were you go get happy endings. I remember seeing an article that talked about human trafficking. I guess Ohio has a big industry for that kind of thing. And the places these ladies are often sent to are spa's and nail salons.

I wouldn't worry about being asked for happy endings. If you work in a legit place, you shouldn't have clients like that.

Here,not many people ask for Happy endings. Then again,I haven't been in many massage spas. But from the ones I've seen,I don't see any sexual favors being delivered.

I don't think of them as i have a best friend who does my massages (he's licensed) and he knows that is very unprofessional (or he feels it is) and even he wouldn't offer such a thing anyway.

I have several friends who are massage therapists and they know and stick to working for ONLY places that are legit and only offer therapeutic massages.

In most towns and areas, most people know which "those" places are (the tacky ones that do offer prostitution services) and in those places, none of the girls who do the massages are licenses or trained in real massage.

If you stick to Professional massage places, you'll be OK. Most good massage places also have cameras in every room and a "bouncer" to get rid of nasty customers.

Yeah the laws here in Ohio seem to be very lax. here in Northwest ohio around my part I have heard of a few just in the last three years that have been closed down. And yeah human trafficking seems to be really popular in the news here of late.

Well I plan on starting my own Mobile massage business, there are not many of those around here. But i will be screening my client a lot. lol Thanks for the input

i will licensed hopefully by the end of July have to schedule my testing then get m licence.. but i would never offer that totally unethical thanks for the feedback
