Does woman have a G?

Contributor: LilyLust LilyLust
I'm starting to wonder if I do. Or if theres something wrong since I had kids. I use to get off so easily. But now it takes some work. I can't even seam to find my G. I have trying finger (mine and his) toys everything I can think of. The only way I seam to get off anymore is with clitoral stimulation. Sex is just not the same.

Any advise? Am I doing something wrong?

I haven't had any children, but my G-spot isn't very dependable either. I know I've got one because I've experienced awesome g-spot orgasms, but she's also been known to disappear for weeks at a time! I hear the pure wand works wonders for G-spot stimulation, so I'm saving up for one now.

How long has it been since you gave birth? Did you breast feed? Natural delivery (episiotomy?) or C-section?

Have you tried kegel exercises or Smart balls? Kegels work miracles on your vagina, especially after childbirth.

If you've tried those & they don't work you may be experiencing some nerve damage, or your hormones could be out of whack- both of which can be treated so you can get your old orgasmic self! I'd go to the doctor & get an assessment of your pelvic muscles & get your hormone levels checked too.

To answer your question "does a woman have a G?" The answer is yes! Some women's aren't as sensitive as others, but if you got off easily during intercourse before, you've definitely got one. I've never heard of a woman's G-spot disappear after giving birth & never returning again, so I think the odds of you being able to reach pre-baby orgasms again are in your favor.

Hope this helps, & good luck!

At the risk of TMI...I never had much stimulation or enjoyment from my g-spot until the last 2 years or so. I had two children in my twenties. Maybe my body changed a bit as I entered my thirties, who knows. I’m sure there is a scientific explanation. It's waaay more sensitive now than it used to be. My partner also knows just how to work it too

Well it's been just a few months since my youngest son(RIP) but 3 1/2 for my last to term child. I do my kegals, haven;t tried the smart balls but I have a pair of Ben Wa (sp?). I don't know maybe it is nerve damage.

Or maybe I should start at square one, like someone that hasn't discovered hers yet.

It's just really frustrating, I LOVE sex, it's just annoying that I can't get my groove back.

I guess for now I'll chalk it up to every woman is different.

Mine was pretty non existent till recently too, I could only cum through clitorial stimulation. I can't really explain it either, but I crave penetration now more than ever before.

I've actually heard that women 30+ have easier times with their G-spot.

I just recently started using the Pure Wand and while I have not achieved G-spot orgasm, it has really started to pinpoint where it is and actually give me good stimulation. Before the Pure Wand, I really worried, like you, that I was some freak of nature or something.

Previously, did you only have G-spot orgasms? Maybe you need to focus on clitoral ones?

I knew I had a g-spot but I couldn't locate it. The book, Female Ejaculation & The G-Spot, link was basically a map for me. After all these years I finally figured out what my g-spot was and how to find it. It was a step to step guide to getting to know your body... and now, every time i touch myself, I don't have to feel around, I know right where my g-spot is.

After childbirth my body was DESTROYED. I lost all muscle definition because I couldn't exercise or have sex in the last 5 months of my pregnancy. I was stuck in bed all the time and it was a HARD delivery, my vagina was just a shredded mess- that sounds a wee bit graphic but regardless.. I needed an exerciser and it has HELPED. Stronger pelvic muscles will lead to fuller and potential g-spot orgasms. When your vagina is in prime condition and your muscles are toned it is easier to orgasm internally. Try the Luna Beads or the Kegelcisor Enhansor, both are excellent tools to working out your PC muscles.

I was actually recommended to go to a PT (physical therapist) by not one but two gynecologists and they said if it didn't help that surgery was an option. So don't give up hope. Try it your way and if you don't see improvement ask your doctor what the next step is! Good luck.

Yup. I definitely noticed an increase in sensitivity after I turned 30. I was always sensitive but way, way more so now. And I never ejaculated until my mid thirties and now I do it at the drop of a hat.

CC: Turning 30 is the best!!!

I never had a g-spot orgasm until about a month after my 30th birthday. I swear it was in hiding or something. Now I can ejaculate from only, and I kid you not, tribadism.

Spicing it Up:
I am so sorry for your loss. Your body is probably still in shock to some degree. Plus just being pregnant, well, that wreaks havoc all over a lot of women.

Maybe you should not try for a couple of weeks, have a couple of other kinds of orgasms first, and then try to find it.

From a LOT of feedback from my thread "TRY THIS" I would say that as a woman ages it becomes MUCH easier to stimulate her GSpot and have it respond. There may be a number of factors but self confidence is a biggie. Also the vaginal walls become thinner as you age so having the G respond to rubbing will be easier as those walls thin over time. SOME women can achieve G-Gasms from a very early age but many can't cum like that until they are a little older. Yup. SOmething to look forward to.

Just chiming in that I agree with you--with age "comes" wisdom

I don't know if I have anything useful to say besides Lelo Beads. I started with the creepy vagina Thighmaster thingies called Gyneflex, but the beads are. amazing. They feel good, too. They come with a couple different weights. I got them on Amazon, they were quite cheap (Lelo stuff is really cheap there for some reason).

My personal opinion is every woman does indeed have a g-spot But I'm pretty new at all of this information. But I thought I'd give my bit.

Good luck. Relax and don't even think about it. Just work those muscles with lots of exercise devices and lots of orgasms!
