When I am with a man I like to be the submissive partner, but when I am a with a women I prefer to dominate. I am wondering if anyone else takes on different roles when they are with partners of different genders.

Generally, I am more submissive with men and more dominant with women but there have been exceptions to both. I just go with whatever feels right.

It's based on the personality and interests of each partner, not their gender.

If I'm with a more submissive person, I tend to be more dominant. If I'm with a more dominant person, I like to submit. I'm just a switch haha.

I'm a total sub to a male. However, I am a dominate female personality. There is no way I could be a sub to another female. I am the Dom in that case.

Completely dependent upon the person's personality, not gender.

I tend to be more sentimental toward women. I want to build a strong, passionate relationship with them before sex. I am less prudent with men; they are usually my friends with benefits. That is not always the case, but the different personalities seem to be corresponding with genders, in my experience.

It definitely depends on the person. Although I identify as a woman, my gender is sort of fluid at the same time. So my "role" definitely depends on my partner, and the mood we are in at the time.
