What are your thoughts on gay marriage? Should it happen/be allowed? Or is civil union better? I personally think marriage should be separated from state unions entirely and people should be required to have a state union and then if they are religious they can also have a marriage ceremony with their church or whatever.

civil unions do not share all the rights marriage do. marriage should be between to grown people who love eachother. what we have right now in america is segregation.
