I came out as a lesbian before I even had an interest in guys - now I consider myself pansexual. But if you're asking for personal reasons, I feel like I should let you know that no matter how many people you were with of the opposite sex before you came out, it should not in any way negate who you are and no one has a reason to doubt that. Your sexual orientation is judged by you and you alone by who you are sexually attracted to.

It was a more 'ABOUT FUCKING TIME' when I came out, there was no doubt from friends/family at all.

It doesn't matter how many people you were with, you are who you are, and if people are doubting your orientation based on that, well, they're not really your friends now are they?

I go both ways but I prefer women. I have dated one guy so far in my love life.

I have not come out of the closet yet, and no one knows about my relationships.

I have a feeling that my family knows I gay, but they don't wanna drag me out.

When I came out as gay during my first year of college, people had a hard time accepting that I was really a dyke and not bisexual because of the number of guys I'd been with prior to coming out (about 4 guys). I agree with britanny0620!
