Holding hand in public and kissing is cute.
Open faced make-out is a little ridiculous, glad to see people who are passionate about each other, but that is for behind closed doors.

Whatever. If they're attractive I'll watch :p ....If they're not, I have better things to do than be bothered by how much they like each other.

Rubbing and touching is never ok IMHO...

Not a fan. I rarely even hold my husband's hand in public. I'm just not big on showing off relationships to the world in that way. We're clearly together - no need to rub against each other while we're out. That's what the bedroom is for.

However...if two super attractive girls are making out? Maybe I'll watch.

I don't pay attention when others do it, because it's not my business, but in public I can't help but get all snuggly with hubby. Almost 2 years later I still can't keep my hands off of him!

I usually don't pay attention. I could care less what other people are doing.

I just don't like being a third wheel, in a group.

seeing as how this is in the lgbt forum; i'm going to talk from my queer relationships. I don't mind other couples at all; but i personally do not feel safe. Even though I'm in a rather liberal state, friends of mine have gotten beaten up, injured. I'm scared of more than handholding. and even then, nervous in BIG public places.

Holding hands is fine, even a little kiss but I don't want to see someone doing their intensive foreplay or having sex in public. But I love holding hands with my partner and the moments when he pulls me back to give me a quick kiss those are the best

Holding hands or standing near each other, light touches are fine. Anything more involved than that and it's like you're trying to show off to the world. Yes, it's great you're in love, now keep it to appropriate times and places.

I was at the mall recently and walking behind two women who were holding hands. They looked so nervous to be doing it. I felt bad for them and hope they didn't encounter any problems. It's awful to think some people would have made an issue of it just due to their gender.

EXACTLY.
There's just a certain extent of what should be displayed in public. Cute is nice, and I'm even okay with light teasing if it's not obvious, but if you're playing tonsil hockey in public I'm pretty disgusted by it. It's just... too much.

Holding hands is always good. Kissing is ok as long as there are no children around, however tongue and feeling upness pushes things waaaaaaaaay too far

Depends how it done, mostly I don't mind but if your making out so loudly I can hear you then it bothers me. One great example two people making out in a computer lab so loud I could hear them several computers away. Rude as your distracting people and your taking up computers seats your obviously not using.

I enjoy PDA, but I respect the wishes of my partners around it. One loves it, except around her family, and the other is very shy about it and is only comfy in the evenings when there aren't many people around or occasionally cuddling and kissing at queer-focused events, so I go with the flow with each of them.

Not much of a fan... hugging, cuddling, pecking and hand-holding is fine, downright making out in public is out, in myself or in others. I don't like doing it, and I don't like watching it.
