For me it was just natural. Girl's always felt more like family. I had never been sexual attracted to a female. Men, on the other hand, had always seemed sexual and easier to connect in a relationship. Was it the same for anyone else, or did it take a little time?
When did you realize your attraction for the same sex?

I noticed way back since I can remember but been that I grew up in Puerto Rico on a very religious family that was not accepted nor talked about it. It wasn't until my mid 20's that I actually got to experience been with a female for the very first time (yes, after I was married and had one child). Do I regret it? A combination of both. I do, Because it took me a long time to be comfortable with my own sexuality and No because I'm able now to enjoy the best of both worlds.

When I was around 15 I realized I was attracted to girls as well as boys - but the "lesbian parties" that my barbie dolls had when I was 7 should have been a clue.

It wasn't until after high school when the signs started showing up but I still didn't admit it to myself for a long time after that.

first experience was with same sex at 12. it was a lot easier to connect. took me another 7 years to meet someone of the opposite sex and that was a struggle.

I was actually in 2nd or 3rd grade. I just thought it was normal to like girls, and so I did. Only as I grew older did I learn that people thought what I viewed as normal as an anomaly.
