Being transgender certainly makes you think more about the importance of sex and gender and how they relate to you in many ways.

A lot of people just don't think about it, so in a way, I guess so.

Being trans shapes how I respond to other genders in big ways. I would still be pansexual, even if I weren't trans, because I'm very open and accepting of others, but I think I wouldn't have the issues that I have if I weren't.
