I never got any info in school...I also had sex ed when I was 12 and that was it. It would have been nice to have it when I was a little older. I feel like I would have understood it a lot better.

we didn't have any sex ed beside "have sex and die." i really really think kids need to learn about sexuality full-circle....I think that would help break thru sexuality-discriminati on.

None. We also weren't allowed to be shown real condoms.

No way. Only references by teachers to transness at my school were jokes unfortunately.

I got my fair share from volunteering in a sexual health clinic in the end.

Absolutely nothing, but I didn't have sex ed in high school, only gradeschool and junior high. We had a sex ed day in college too (since the conservative half of our state teaches abstinence sadly), they still didn't cover anything until I asked if there was a trans-friendly help center nearby, turns out the guy who came in to teach the lesson was a transman.

Nothing at all that I can recall, and I'm sure I would remember that happening. We did have a presenter come in and do a panel about gender identity and trans* issues during a diversity week event in high school, but that was voluntary, not a part of our sex ed curriculum, and it was more about broad concepts than about the actual mechanics of safe sex from a trans* perspective, though it was certainly a step in the right direction.

I had very little information provided by the teachers who were supposed to teach it, but got more information from a teacher running an extracurricular (I believe it was like GSA)

I didn't even learn about sex in high school. Just was told that birth control pills were made from horse urine and not to take them

Sex Ed in our school was sometimes boys and girls feel urges that lead to a man's penis connecting with a woman's vagina and you must use a condom to prevent a baby...End class....Yeahhhhhh..so oo didn't have sex ed.

I only learned about straight cis people and like a two-slide powerpoint presentation on contraception. It was ridiculous.

Nevada has abstinence-only education XP. So yeah, not one bit on trans people. I DID have an awesome teacher in middle school who made it a point to talk about transgender people and about gender reassignment surgery though. He didn't care if it he could get fired, he wanted us to know everything :'D.

That is awesome! I'm always really happy when I hear about teachers who alter their curriculum in useful ways like that. If I met your teacher, I would high five him.
