What's your pronoun?

Contributor: Roz W Roz W
Ok, so, this might be the very first question anyone asks in trans/queer/genderquee r spaces, but I like it: what's your pronoun? Do or have you used gender-neutral pronouns? I like singular "they" and ze/hir (which can also be ze/zir) but there's also less common ones, like "cie."

I'm a cisgirl, but I hover the glbt boards. I would definitely not mind gender neutral pronouns; but i probably wouldn't really respond to them. they, them, she and her work for me.

I'm a binary trans dude. He/him it is!

I like just about anything! I normally get 'he' in real life because of my body, but I'd gladly respond to she/her, ze/hir, or even it.
Pronouns aren't a big deal for me, but within just the binary I'd have a small preference for she/her.

He/him for me (FtM), I don't scream when people say she/her I just don't LIKE it. I get sick of correcting people so I just let it go most of the time lol. They/them is also fine, but I still prefer he/him.

I've always used they/them, but I like being refered to as ze.

They/them, but switching between he/she is also acceptable.

I'm a transgender male, and I prefer male pronouns whenever possible.

I prefer he/him but don't mind they/them. I just can't stand her/she.

Kind of a minority with this opinion but i really like "it". That can make sentence structure awkward or cause other people to be uncomfortable though, so I usually just go for he/him to fly under the radar.

I'm also in favor of "it". It's more grammatically correct than a singular "they/them" and honestly the whole "zi/hir" whatever just sounds too silly to me. I can't take it seriously. The problem is that "it" has a whole stigma attached that it's usually only used for objects.

But personally I have no preference between female or male pronouns used on myself.

I like "it" too!

Really, anything but female pronouns.

I am 'he/him/his'.

I ID as genderqueer-male, and I have no intent to ever use hormones or surgery to alter my appearance, and no longer experience any sort of dysphoria. I am male, and ergo my body is male, is the conclusion I have come to. It took five years but I am very happy to have finally gotten to this point with myself. I still have days where I do not think I am attractive, but I am happy to leave days of actually hating my body behind.

I use she/her and he/him. I'm fluid and don't mind which people use, personally, so it's kind of interesting to see what people choose.

I'm genderfluid and use xie/xir. They sound similar enough to "she" to not be too jarring and flow with my usually-femme presentation, but distinct without being complicated.

I'm not trans* and I go by she/her but I usually don't care what pronoun people use. We need to just all do gender-neutral pronouns. =P

He, him, his. I don't always identify as trans openly because people might get confused at my.. diva-like personality.

I do use ze/hir, and I think it's great that this question continues to be asked, as it's a very important one.

I use whatever people assign to me, really. I get he/him more often than I'd expect (I don't see myself as THAT butchy?), but mostly she/her, which I was assigned at birth.

I really love and prefer Spivak pronouns (ey/em), though I will respond to he/him and she/her positively as well. As long as you don't call me "it" we're cool.

I don't have any trans gender or other gendered friends, but I like the sound of ze and zir, so I would probably throw those out and see how they flew.

He/him, ze/hir and per. Within the binary, he/him because most people know it IRL and don't ask, he/hir is long to explain and per is from a SF book.
