Today has already been hectic!

So after the crazy thunder storm and tornado watch we had last night that finally started like at 2 in the morning. I was just hoping my power did not go out because since I am packing I have packed all the good candles up and left out the not so great ones. Thank goodness it was late at night and was time for bed anyways. I also ended up with my 13 yr old and 2 yr old in my bed, which they take up most of the room and I get a corner.

So I tried to sleep in after getting up early and that was not going over so well my baby got up and I had to tend to her. I was tired and tried to cat nap but then it was silence in the house. Had to question where is my damn daughter at because she was just upstairs making all kinds of noise. I am calling her name and she is not responding to me at all, I had to get up and go check on her. While heading down the stairs I smell you guessed it bowl movements I was not happy at all. Then I look and all on my couch my damn rugs and her there it is. Needless to say my day got started I had to give her a bath and clean up the mess, good thing I had some rug cleaner and spray for the rug to make it smell good.

So now I am here reading the forums and online camming. I am about to work on some reviews because I am bored. Yes I said I would take a break but I just got my package in and tried out my stuff and now it's time to review, until I crash again.

I hope everyone else had a mild day compared to mine.

Oh ewww, I'd die. I'd probably have a nervous breakdown and just crawl into a hole - I cannot deal with poo.

This is not the first time either it is non stop with her. I have never watched or been around a kid who does that. Half the stuff she does my son never did LOL. It amazes me. You don't know how some days I want to climb in a hole and not be found.

Is there a particular action or response she receives from you when she does it? (Just thinking she's found a positive in there somewhere, you know?)

Oh dear. You have my sympathies. I hope you have a better evening and somehow grab a few minutes of peace.

Response is she knows she is in trouble and runs. The sad part is she will go to the potty when I go in the bathroom but then she likes to go a couple of times then go on the floor or in her diaper. She wants to go on her time not no one else.

Thanks, I do too. She is out for the count now so I get some peace and quiet until she wakes up.

You must live somewhere near Ohio, we were under a tornado warning/watch most of the night. As for the poo thing, it's just a phase that hopefully she'll get out of soon. My 21 year old took a dump in the living room once when she was tiny after I made her help clean it up she didn't do it again.

I am actually in Ohio. I sure hope so Melissa because I am at my wits end with her. It's time for her to use her potty all the time not just when she wants too and when she tells me she says she has to go potty.

I know it kind of sets you up for disaster in the long-haul but maybe the short-term solution is to reward her for going to the potty instead of smearing it all over the house. (And this is a joke I swear: Tie her to your leg so she's under constant surveillance.)

We have the same poopy issues in our house! Duct taped diaper, backwards sleeper, duct tape over the sleeper, and a backwards hoodie. The crazy part, sometimes she STILL manages to get out of that! You have my deepest sympathies and I completely understand!

That sounds like a good plan. Thanks Stormy I am going to try that and see how long it takes before she gets it.

Well that joke had me cracking up and no thanks the house is not too big but I do have to watch her. I have all my nick nacks put up. I have a gate up at my kitchen. She is a climber, falls down and gets right back up into shit. She is tough.

Oh damn duct tape is supposed to hold over well. Damn she sounds like my daughter LOL. This girl does not keep clothes on her she likes to take them off so trying to keep anything on is hard. I even tried to do the undies for them potty training and the wet pants first those came off then the wet pants came off. I tried the pull ups and all she does is take them off, they thought they made it easier for parents no they just made it easier for the kids to pull the side tabs I think that was stupid.

Just a update inspired by Mr. Wills update on his "day in life".

My daughter is now up again and her and her brother are driving me up the wall. She has a potty mouth and is walking around calling everyone a "bitch". I tell her no don't do that tap her lightly in the mouth and she still does it.

Now I have a damn headache and they are both in my room bothering me while I am trying to do stuff online making my headache worse. I am hoping the little one will go down soon again.

Mommy is thinking a glass of wine is in order to mellow myself out but then again I am not in the mood to drink it either. A little bottle has been in my fridge for 4 or 5 months now and I have got another big bottle that was brought at the beginning of this month. That tells you how much I drink now.

Hmm what to do? what to do? Someone shoot me now please.

I feel bad for you! I don't have kids yet but I want one in a few years but I'm not looking forward to potty training. I babysat my exes cousin once when he was 3. He was potty trained but sometimes was lazy and would just go in his pants. For some reason they didn't put a pull-up on him that night. I noticed he wasn't around and asked his brother where he was, he said hiding behind the couch (which he hid whenever he went in his pants). I had the brother check and sure enough, he pooped in his PJs!
I marched him to the bathroom and made him climb in the tub with his pants on. I took them off and man...the poop just smeared ALL down his legs, between his toes....all up in his crack. I was gagging the entire time. I turned the shower on and told him to bend over and let it hit him, lol. Oh it was AWFUL. Didn't help that I had a 5 year old sitting there gagging with me saying "it smells, it smells!". I had to bathe him, then I had to wash his pants out.
I was NOT happy.

I recently watched my friend's 1 year old and he had a massive poop! I haven't changed a diaper or dealt with poop in like 6 years! Anytime I was ever around my goddaughter when she was in diapers, her mom changed her poop diaper. I changed if she peed or help if she wets herself. I was gagging. He laughed at me. Bless his heart though, he laid there and behaved while I lifted his legs and tried to clean him up. It went all up to his back where the diaper ended. I was thinking "how am I going to do this?!" Everyone tells me it's different when it's your own....but I just don't know. I have a weak stomach when it comes to poop, pee and vomit!

Oh wow I would have been like wtf are you doing? Yea the smell gets to me too I said I would never work with people in nursing and worked for a friend of mines brother let me tell you it takes a strong stomach to handle a grown mans poop. I have babysat for years on end and have taken used to it sometimes. Vomit still gets me though.

Aw! Bless your heart! I am so sorry. I hope you are doing okay with all that storming. It's been a day since you posted this, so I hope we hear from ya soon. I know I've seen bad weather all over the news. We had just some light rain this week and a thunderstorm, but nothing serious. Gosh. I hate power outages! Hell, I hate storms. Those are two things I really despise. Lol.

I have a tough time with poop too! I can handle throw-up just fine, but poop makes me cringe. Your daughter reminds me a little of the way one of the boys were as a baby. He often woke up before everyone else and to wake us up, he'd... ahem.... manage to get inside his diaper & either smear it or throw it! It was awful. Awful! It gets old really quick, so I can see how you're stressed. Some kids just do not want to use the potty. Seems like it's worse with poop. The 3 year old (girl) has issues there. She is totally fine using the potty and peeing, but she acts almost scared to poop there. She'll tell us she needs to, but says she doesn't want to on the potty. She's been with her dad for nearly a month straight now, and he's a firm believer in pull-ups. Ugh! She will go sometimes when she's here, but not always. I actually started thinking that it hurt when she went. It's possible, especially if they're constipated and she was a lot. Maybe something about pooping on the toilet is scary when they know it's going to hurt. Heck, I don't know.

You've probably already tried this, but I'll say it anyway -- one way we've had luck (not every time unfortunately) is by saying "we use the toilet! Mommy uses it, nana uses it & we'll tell her that the other kids use it & that they LIKE to use the potty. That has worked before.

Besides convincing them, though, the only other thing I know is bribing, and even that doesn't always work. Also, if they tell you beforehand that they have to go, take them to the bathroom and stay & say "we ain't leaving the room until it happens." That has worked some too. Or if you can get them on the toilet and start an interesting conversation during the toilet sitting, they sometimes finally end up using it.

Darn! No power and poop is never fun. You poor thing.

LOL I know that's not funny about her calling people "bitch," but I couldn't help but laugh a little. I apologize. She'll probably grow out of it.

You and your family are in my thoughts & prayers.

Thanks for all the tips I will try anything at this point. I just want her to keep going on the toilet.

Our weather is good today I had to go out it is hot but there is a cool breeze I am glad to be back in the house now it has been a long day.

As for the "bitch" issue I know she was mad at me today while we were out and I am glad she did not say it while out and about seems she only does it in the house and her brother is no help because I hear him at times whispering to her to say stuff.

It does get kind of scary but I am glad I am not on the outskirts they seem to have more weather troubles then in the inner city. As for chaos I have some every day dealing with my little one, she is a handful. Thanks!
