I've recently become interested in the phenomenon of anal orgasms. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be much in depth that I've found on the subject. I'm considering trying to throw together an "amateur" qualitative research project (amateur in that I'm not a professional of sexuality), so I was wondering a couple things:

Does anyone here have any good prior research on the subject? I've found snippets (Google Books is wonderful), but not being in a university with a department of sexuality I don't have access to any specialized databases

Is there anyone here who would be interested in working on this with me or otherwise helping? (reviewing the study before starting it, etc)?

If you asked this 6 months ago, or were asking this in about three months, I would be right there with ya!

Check out Google Scholar and Pub-Med for more help searching literature.

Well, Red, I might wait for a few months if you think you'd be available to work on questions and sampling, etc.

I find it fascinating because most of what I've found about anal orgasms is a paragraph or two in books, some where they even debate whether it's a real orgasm (just ask the person who's been there... it's real).

I've tentatively split them into three parts: anally enhanced orgasms, anally induced orgasms, and anorectal orgasms.

I have been wondering about anal orgasms as well. I like the 3 part break down I never thought about it that way.

Well, I'm putting together the bones of a qualitative study to try and figure out what they are generally like (broken down by type), how best to attain them, etc. Hopefully Red or someone else will be able to work with me or at least vet the study, since this is my first sex study.
