Welcome to Eden, but I don't know that you'll get many new followers by coming in completely new, and throwing out links.
Give it a bit, make a few friends, and then slowly send people to your blog.
Bait them to the trap, instead of showing them the trap and telling them to get in! :-P

Welcome I usually just post the link to my blogs in my Favorites on here or my websites an people usually find my blog an follow from there. Building a blog can be time consuming (: Good luck with getting your blog off the ground. I can say that if someone follows your blog it is always good to follow them back in return
