My b/f said he thinks I am now Nympho as I need sex at least twice a day, sometimes more, no matter what, either with a partner or solo. I am in an internship program, work part time and I am writing my thesis. I love a good orgasm, of course relaxes me, even a quickie and.I am usually multi orgsmatic. I can then continue to work..
I haven't researched it but I did hear that "most" couples have sex twice a week but that doesn't include solo, I assume.

I wanted to screw 24/7- my husband thought I had some sort of extreme addiction to sex, lol. The doc tested my hormone levels and they found my testosterone count was really high, it was just another factor of having PCOS.

The Patch actually helped to curb my sexual desire but when I switched to the Nuvaring I just wanted it more and more. I've been off birth control for a while now and I only get the urge like once a day. I do take Metformin though and a slew of other medications so it may be why I'm not wanting sex as much as before.

I used to be a lot hornier than I am not and I also had a high testosterone level. Of course, I think there are a lot of factors when it comes to wanting sex.

I used to orgasm 3 times a day, on average, although I didn't exactly NEED it--I could go without it, I just really wanted it. Now I'm averaging about once day, thanks to hormonal BC and a lot of stress. Some days I don't orgasm at all, while others I orgasm multiple times.

Mine is all over the place, I was tested and my hormone levels were normal. When my husband and I started having sex we would do it as many as 10 times a day, normal was 3 or 4. Still, after being married 10 years it is like at least 2 when he is home. If we only had sex 2 times a week, there would be something really wrong with one of us. There are days I want to do it over and over again, and days I am just not that into doing it again after one time. When he is gone I can go weeks with out wanting to be touched, and then there are days all I think about is dick and the most XXX rated stuff ever. I think it is just my body being used to it and missing it rather than a hormonal cause for me.

I generally only need sex, whether solo or with my partner, about once a day...but sometimes more frequently, usually not more than twice in a day. Sex drives can be so variable, whether it is hormonal levels, time of day, mood, stress level, etc. I won't think your situation is too out of the ordinary.

One day about 1.5 years ago I went to my ob/gyn and (honestly) asked him what was wrong with me because I wasn't satisfied with having sex and/or masturbating an average of 3 times a day. He looked at my chart and said that I was "earning my 30 year old hormones." I asked what he meant by "earning" and he said it is my reward for bearing children in my late 20's. (He's a comical guy.)

My point - normally (barring stress or illness) I have 4 or 5 orgasms a day if I have a partner around, or 2-3 if I'm solo. I read about the younger women on here and I hope I'm still around when they get their "30 year hormones." Ya'll are going to get carpal tunnel.

So that explains it. My son was born when I was 30.

I went through a lull for a while, then after a cancer scare and hysterectomy 4 years ago, I've been revitalized. My drive has returned to where I was at age 20.

Eh. I have thyroid issues and perimenopause issues and I"m almost forty. I'm pretty happy with one a day if I masturbate though I get many more when we have sex.

Twice a week with my bf is never enough, we are averaging 4-5 times a week and it's still not enough for me. I play with my toys when he is at work usually. I'm kinda afraid to go off my birth control since it's supposed to suppress your sex drive and I'm still horny as ever.

Thanks for all your insights. I went to my gyn, she said my hormones are off the wall. Now off all BC until my body settles down. Meanwhile back to condoms. I am still horny most of the time. Hard to write my thesis without taking solo play breaks. Couldn't make it w/o my toys.
