Sure, we've all heard of Valentine's Day. But, were you aware of Lovers Day? Lovers Day is different than Valentine's Day because it isn't based on a commercial theory that giving gifts means you care or even love someone. No, it's a day to show how much you love everyone and everything in your life - from your neighbors to your spouse, children, and your pets to your favorite artist's newest release. Or hey, maybe you've been meaning to buy that boxed set of DVDs for yourself.

Take a moment today and make sure those special people (and four-legged fur-babies) know just how much you care! Spend a few moments in a sweet embrace with your significant other or play a game with the kids and give your pet an extra special treat! Most importantly, don't forget to laugh and play today!

I've never heard of Lovers Day, Valentines and Sweethearts day yes but not lovers, I guess I have the rest of the day to make plans for when my lover gets home... Thanks for the heads up!

I've never heard of lover's day but I love everyone and everything everyday. I make sure to let my partner know how much I love him and give him a big hug every morning. I let my friends and family know how much I care by going the extra mile to be there for them. And I give my cat lots of love (she's easily loveable though).

I've never heard of Lover's Day before! I've always thought of Valentine's Day as a sort of Lover's Day. I love Valentine's Day because it's everyone's excuse to be romantic and I love all the cuteness. I do nice things to show my love all year long though. I really like the sound of Lover's Day though.

I'm not sure that I express love in EVERYTHING I do, but to me that's a lot easier than giving a gift. I prefer Valentine's Day because I like presents I think the same thing that people say about Valentine's Day applies to Lover's Day: we shouldn't need a named day to do nice things to show people that we love them.
