Every year, my mum, sister and I (and my dad when he was alive) read the story "The Night Before Christmas" I book given to me for my first Christmas. In years passed where we haven’t been together, we will read it over the phone or Skype.

I really like that you guys do it over the phone or skype, that way you keep the tradition even if you can't all get together physically for it.

We make a tree with 2 tubes of cinnamon rolls and turn the frosting green with food coloring. Then my sister and I decorate it. We also have a pickle ornament on the tree and who ever finds it first gets the pickle present - just a little extra gift. My in-laws give PJs every year on Christmas eve and I am glad to be part of it, I like to get new PJs!!
