Much to our surprise, and due to Internet shopping, we stayed home and got our Christmas Tree up on Black Friday. Today we finished our house decorating!!!

Anyone else get their decorating done this Thanksgiving weekend? Doesn't it feel GOOD to have that DONE???

My mom put her little tree up a few days before Thanksgiving! I still haven't put mine up but I really want to. My boyfriend says to wait until December 1st but I don't want to wait. I might put it up when he's at work.

We have the outdoor decorations up now, but since we get a real tree we wait til closer to Christmas to put it up so it doesn't lose too many needles.

Nope. We usually grab a bottle of wine or a few beers and go out at night to get our tree. We have had a few surprises the next morning in the daylight, but it has been a tradition of ours since our first one together. Our kids even look forward to seeing what we bring home! Oh, we cut them ourself out of the woods. Last year my daughter was back and we took her with-she had so much fun!!

My parents have (I'm living with them, so I answered yes), but it was was up to me, the Christmas three would be up only by Dec 20.

Not yet. We have it sitting in it's box ready to go, but haven't cleared the space to set it up yet. I think we'll wait another week or so. Unfortunately I'm allergic to the real trees, otherwise it's fun picking them out. Just being around them makes breathing troublesome and me nauseous.
