Columbus Day is not a big holiday where I live--so no, I will keep my business open.

My university never closes for Columbus Day. And even on holidays, I still work.

Morning classes - My college used to have Columbus Day off, but somewhere between 2006 and 2010 they stopped, so it's another school day. Too bad. I used to be able to do a weekend trip to Boston and go watch the Columbus Day Parade in the North End with my best friend.
