Yeah I'd say it was probably around 12. While it's not free, at least I can buy as much candy as I want nowadays

I parked around the corner from my grannys house and knocked on her door wearing a full face mask and costume and tried to see if she'd know who we were as trick or treaters. I was 21 then. Does that count?

like 14-16, after that everyone turned into an asshole and claimed teenagers are too old for that. I hope I see them getting beat up one day so when they ask me for help, i can let them know they're a bit too old to be asking me for my help.

I stopped when I was 16. Some old guy yelled at me that I was too old to be doing it and I just didn't feel like being yelled at about it anymore.

There wasn't an option for me. I never went trick or treating. We would rent a movie, my mom would buy us some candy and we would hang out at home. Instead of getting a bunch of candy we didn't like, we were able to pick out what we wanted. I never felt like we lost out on anything, we still got to have fun!

I think I was maybe 12 when I decided it was more fun to stay and give out candy instead of trick or treat. My best friend and I decorated her carport and gave out candy, not to mention jumped out to scare some of our friends.
