First of all, how long where you together before you got married, if it was a bit I would just follow that pattern.
That being said, it is hard to give suggestions without a starting point. I could say a new power drill, then he might never do anything with it. And so on for everything. What does he do for work? Maybe a funny thing for his desk or a humorous book about his line of work.

You could make a date night "basket"...gift card for dinner (or just take him out to dinner), a movie (either going to a movie or buy/rent one), wine and dessert at home. Or you could shop together on Eden and find something for both of you.

they are all great ideas but he wouldnt do Any of it. we have been together for 7 years and have two kids.
