Just curious, do you have your Christmas tree up yet or do you wait until it's even closer to time?

trees been up since after thanksgiving, take it down day after new years usually.

Not yet, will be up on the 11th as usual, as it's the anniversary of my PopPop's death, and Mum likes to celebrate her dad by putting up a tree in his honour.

YES! Ours is up. I hate to go to all the trouble to put the tree and decorations out for just a short time, so ours is up for a little over a month!

Just got my tree up yesterday. My friend came over and helped me since my husband had other errands he had to run.

Yup, we went and cut down our tree the day after Thanksgiving, put it up as soon as we got home, light decorations, candy canes, and a train running around it.

Our tree will be up as soon as it arrives! This is our 5th christmas together, but the first where we're living together in our own place, so we've ordered a little christmas tree (18 inches) that will hopefully arrive sometime this week.

Boyfriend and I moved into our new apartment about 3 months ago, and this will be our first Christmas living together. Between my two jobs, belly dancing, etc, he already gets annoyed at how negligent I can be with my share of the household responsibilities. Knowing me, if I put a tree up, even an artificial table-top variety, it would stay up for months.

Not yet. My daughters bday is the 16th and every year I give her the choice as to whether we do it before or after her bday. (If she doesnt want them to run together, she has that choice.) This year she has chosen after.
So we will do it the 17th.

We haven't had a tree for the past few years. We always head to my mom's house mid month and stay til after the new year, less hassle.

Our tree is up and the lights are on it. The ornaments will be on tonight.

We put our up last weekend, which was much later than usual. We normally have it up by the Friday or Saturday following Thanksgiving.

I just did a cute little tree since my dog is crazy lol she tore it down twice last year breaking some ornaments that ive had for years... Gotta love her though..

In fact we like to be total opposite of tradition that we were talking about it, we need to purchase a tree if we are putting on up. But we decided that we are going to try something different, there is the web bondage thing on here, I was going to read about it and see if we can hang that up on the wall and wrap lights around it, then we will have out own christmas web.
