I'm making mint chocolate chip cookies with crushed candy cane baked in and sprinkled on top. So....what do people here like best for the cookie dough part, chewy or crunchy?
Chewy or crunchy? Oh how should my cookies be?

I think it would make more sense to the brain if the cookie was crunchy. I'm not particularly fond of biting into a soft cookie only to be greeted with crunchy bits (the mint).

I love chewy cookies but I hate crunchy ones

I like chewy cookies best, but this one with crushed candy cane might be better crunchy.

Mr Scotch says chewy. He says with the crunchy bits in the chewy cookies it's a nice contrast in textures. He also likes candy pieces and nuts in his ice cream.
Mrs says someone else is making cookies? YEAH!!!!!Bring 'em on!

Both I like chewy but if hard candy pieces are going to be included then I would make them crunchy

I love to bake and I always go for chewy.

Generally I prefer chewy, but for that combination I think I'd go crunchy.

chewy. Chocolate chip cookies were meant to be slightly undercooked. Brown around the outer edges, and creamy white in the center. Alittle crunch on the outside edges, and chewy center. I love chocolate chip cookies.

I only like chewy cookies.

Cat E.
I like for cookies to have a bit of crunch on the outside and softer in the middle.

I like both. The overall taste is more important to me than the texture.

Chewy!

I like both but prefer chewy, personally.
