What will be your contribution to Thanksgiving dinner?

Will you be responsible for most of the meal or just part of it.

My SIL is hosting this year. I will be making the mashed potatoes and rolls.

Our family friend usually hosts, and each year the contributions change from person to person, but I usually bring white and red wine.

This year? It's going to be "not showing up". Last year was an uncermonious disaster and I refuse to be put through the paces for people I barely like, let alone tolerate.

We have a get together every year at my husband's aunt and uncle's. This year we're all a little strapped for cash, so we're helping out making one of two turkeys, an apple pie, spaghetti salad, and maybe something else

My Mom will be responsible for hosting & cooking. My husband & I will be helping her Tuesday. Then that Wednesday we will go back to her house and help her we will spend Wednesday night so we can help her Thanksgiving day since we don't eat dinner until 5:00.

Besides helping my Mom, I will be making the deviled eggs the recipe I use is a secret recipe. Every deviled eggs I have eaten either have too much mustard or too much mayonnaise. My late Grandfather's secret recipe is the best ever. I am so glad that my late Grandmother showed me how to do his recipe.

My husband & I will be helping my Dad's family out by not going. I know my Dad does not like my husband and my step-mom doesn't like me anymore. My husband & I were dreading going so when my Dad asked me the other day I told him we was not going to be there. He does know that I am going to my Mom's.

Another contribution I will make at my Mom's is not eating a whole lot unlike the rest of my family. Since my weight loss surgery I am only supposed to eat 2 ounces of meat and 2 tablespoons of vegetables.
