We don't go out trick out treating. I go to an event at my work that is for the families (I work at a YMCA) and I do dress up for that. My fiance have gone out to parties twice but lately I have decided not to anymore

I like to, but it seems most of the time it's just an excuse for others to become stupidly drunk, which doesn't make it fun anymore.
A friend and I were planning to go to a local jazz club last Halloween, dressing up as flappers and listening to jazz ... the club decided to charge a cover and play hip-hop that night "just because it was Halloween" (so we didn't go).
