I have a cat who wouldn't allow me to hold her in place long enough to so much as get one article of clothing on, but my new kitty is such a ham, and cold natured to boot, so he LOVES sweaters and wearing booties and socks and such. I even have him in "training" to expect a treat if he will sit still long enough for a full outfit, so I plan to dress him up for holidays. I got him a really cute santa suit, which consists of 4 black booties, a coat and a hat, he already wears the coat a lot lol. He likes it because it's nice and fuzzy, he will "make biscuits" on the fuzzy part of it while wearing it. Super cute! I'm hoping to get him to sit still long enough to take some photos to post on here!

I don't dress my pooch in anything festive, he only wears his winter fleece vests.

I don't dress my pets up for any reason. To me, they're animals, and they aren't supposed to wear clothing.

Nope. My friends one year put bells on their boxer. The dogs liked the bells and it was actually funny

I have had cats that were oblivious to being dressed up and they looked funny for photos. The two cats I have now, I'm rehabbing from an abusive home and I wouldn't violate what little trust they have in me at the moment by dressing them up.

I dress my dog up only when he gets cold and is shivering.

This year we are. Though, mine wear fleece in the winter, because they get cold and shiver. One in particular (beagle) loves to wear hers.

This. I don't get why people dress up their animals. Special occasions or not, I just don't get it.

The dog takes it WAY personal when the sweaters come out.

Very interesting...never seen a feline wearing sweaters and booties, hope he's not going to lose those booties! Love to see his pictures!

My dogs are now dead but I did do that for a few minutes during holidays in the past. I say a few minutes because they hated it so they would take it off if they wanted. Plus I didn't want to torture them. However my labrador retriever looked super adorable with antlers on, xd.

Not a fan of dressed pets, but if you would wear what you put on your pet then my opinion changes.

Occasionally. But it isn't hardcore outfits because I don't like doing that. Usually my wife will put a little bow or collar that is festive

I don't have pets but I wouldn't do it if I had any. Dressed-up pets always look so mortified/depressed in photos... Like "Why would you do this to me"?

nope...and stop humiliating your pets! they look so cute and so sad at the same time. ps. i don't even like putting clothing on myself.

Some of those outfits just seem cruel, but the pets that actually need something to help keep them warm seems ok.
