I usually go for white. But we have local wine that is soo sweet and tasty!!!! Red is best. Basically I put other because I always try to buy local wine.

And local beer. Go local!

Other - I ferment my own mead, honey wine. I have a great recipe I make for an orange honey wine called Joe's Ancient Orange Mead. It's awesome. For summers I also make Skeeter Pee which is somewhere between a lemon wine and hard lemonade.

My favorite winery (Wollersheim) makes an Ice Wine that I am dying to try. I've heard it taste like liquid honey.

I like whites and rose wines best. My current fave is Wollersheim's White Riesling.

My favorite is Prosecco, an Italian white sparkling wine. It tends to be sweeter (and cheaper) than champagne.

Ice wine is awesome! There's a winery around here that makes a wonderful one.

Mostly, we drink reds. Riesling is about the only white wine we actually enjoy.
