I always end up filling my own as well as everyone else's. I guess I don't really mind. I always get exactly what I want that way. What do you do?

My mom fills mine. And my mother-in-law. Since we do both families for Christmas, there are presents and stockings at each house.

I don't get anything in my stocking. I buy my hubby candy/jerky and the kids items and my 4 year old noticed last year "santa" didnt bring me anything. Oh well,

Everyone in my family puts one item (less than $15) in everyone else's stocking. This way, we all get a few cool surprises.

I get a few stockings. My mother fills the one at my house, my boyfriend's mother fills the one at his house, my Oma fills the ones at her house, and I honestly don't know who fills the stockings at my extended family party.

I do the same, lol. Every year I'm the one to pick Christmas gifts, and fill stockings. The husband is admittedly awful at it;-)
