Would you consider Edward Scissorhands to be a Christmas movie? Odd question, I know, but since it's set around Christmas, my partner wants to watch it with me. Would you consider it to be Christmas-esque at the least?
Is it a Christmas movie?

I clicked other because I honestly can't decided. It's not ABOUT Christmas, but you're right, a lot of the main plots points happen during that time and I know a lot of people like to watch it as part of their Christmas Movie line-ups. So I think it could be considered either way.

I consider it a christmas movie. As Lala said, although it's not about christmas, per se, much of the movie centers around christmas. It might as well be lol. And not all christmas movies have to be exactly about christmas now do they?

I'm with you... it might as well be one. The story centers around Christmas and it deals with themes that are common among Christmas movies (family, loneliness, etc.)...and in the very least I view it as a winter movie because that's the part of the year I usually watch it in (not necessarily just in December).

Not for me, but I can see where some people may.

I don't really consider it a Christmas movie, no.

Nope, for me it's more of a Halloween movie. I know with the snow and ice sculpting and such it could be considered a Christmas movie though.

I don't consider it in that category, but I could see how it could kind of fit. I plan on watching it later, Christmas movie or not!
