Katy Perry was on every station few yrs ago. Now it's Taylor Swift on the airways. Just recently an Patrol Officer was taped singing to TS's song and posted on U Tube.

Just announced KP will be the half time performer on the upcoming Superbowl.

I have to vote "other". My favorite, isn't listed. If I had to choose only between these two choices, I'd choose Perry. She seems like she would be fun when drunk. Nothing skanky or anything like that but just fun.

That's a tough one to answer. I would imagine there are quite a few factors that go into picking the Superbowl Half Time show, most notably factors like who won't get naked on stage, appearance fee and who won't immediately offend half the viewing audience. If it were my decision, I would have picked Pit bull.

I also think it would be really cool to see Stevie Wonder perform at the show. I think his appearance fee might be a bit too much though.

Some other performers that came to mind were Drake, One Direction, Meghan Tranor (please forgive the spelling, also, I don't know if her song catalog is large enough to fill 15 min yet) or possibly any other Disney creation that hasn't gone off the rails yet.

Whomever it is, needs to be able to pull off a big big production. For the limited amt of time performing, big big bucks and exposure.

I agree. This person or group will also have to be entertaining enough to retain the viewing audience and keep the audience from switching channels.

If one misses half time, will also miss the commercials. The morning national news already making a buzz of some of the one that will be aired. Particularly VS and Carl's. Sex sells !

I voted for KP - but I must admit, I haven't watched the SB for many years.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't find the idea of guys crippling one another entertaining. They all leave the league with massive long term health issues.

I don't find it entertaining either and my husband has never been a sports guy which I'm personally thankful for

I could care less about the half-time show; I’m more interested in the game. However, I’m in if the performer is sexy or hot...like Katy Perry back when this was posted in 2015. I couldn’t name any of her songs, but I’m definitely curious about seeing Shakira tomorrow !
