My wife and I pretty much agreed that we wouldn't purchase gifts for each other for our anniversaries, gift giving holidays or birthdays. It just seems silly to us. We do special things with each other, rather than gift give. Sometimes, I'll get her a flower or some lil candies or a card, but otherwise, we don't really participate in gift giving rituals. Is it the same for you? HOw do you handle these situations? Do you expect your partner to get you something on these holidays?
