Where would you spend your first Christmas as a couple?

Me and my boyfriend moved in together, and we've slightly talked about what we're going to do for our first Christmas.
What would/did you do?

I think I want to spend it alone with him. :]

I'm not sure what we're going to do for our first Christmas on our own, but living with my mother while we save for a house my husband and I split time between the two families. I think we'll end up with a Christmas morning thing where we spend time together, just us, and then start the day with families.

Congrats on this milestone! I think spending the holiday alone together is very lovely and quite romantic.

I was hoping this year would be my first Christmas with Master (but no job means no ticket across The Pond, and he's used up all his vacation for this year from visiting me in May), but it's going to have to be next year when he visits me ... he actually wants to spend Christmas with my family. He may change his mind after he witnesses my mother in Holiday Mode. XD

We spent our first Christmas together alone. We were on the west coast and all our family was on the east coast. We enjoyed the quiet together.

What we did was drive 4 hours to see our families.

You gotta spend time with each other, but it's best to see other family too.

i would spend it w/ family, but xmas night would be all about us. like a nice dinner at home & then a sexy bubble bath together in a jacuzzi tub... w/ candles (only the fake tea light candles that you switch on), & Chris Botti playing softly in the background. can you tell i've thought about this before?
