The day after Halloween

I was shocked to walk into a grocery store and see red and green decorations and Christmas candy the DAY AFTER HALLOWEEN. They were also playing Christmas music. Am I just in denial about how soon Christmas is coming up or does this seem excessive?

I think it's a bit excessive, since there's at least Thanksgiving in between the two holidays.

I feel bad for Thanksgiving. It's like the forgotten holiday at times.
