I prefer colored for the family tree, but white can look pretty. My grandmother does a second small tree in her parlor in white and gold, and it's always gorgeous.

I prefer the multi-coloured variety. It's pretty! And the ones we got this year twinkle. I just take the multi-coloured variety to be the literal representation of Bifrost, the rainbow that tinsel usually represents.

I prefer multi color blinking lights on my tree. Although I love a white tree with all blue lights.

We have a prelit tree with white lights but added multi color so we have both on our tree!

White lights only. I wonder how long I'll be able to get away with it, though, with growing kiddies in the house.

If I were doing like a blue/silver/white theme, I'd love white. I do colored because I'm not one of those people who can afford 8 sets of decorations
