My husband has been gone for 5 weeks and comes home this Saturday. While he has been gone I have been hard at work planning an elaborate Valentine's Day/Welcome Home-I Missed You celebration, so to speak. I have left him subtle clues about things I have purchased and hints about how I plan to "surprise" him. He says he feels like a little kid, all excited about Christmas.

Goodness! That is the most awesome, THOUGHTFUL gift basket I could imagine!! I especially love that you give clues; that makes the anticipation so much more fun!!

That basket would last me a couple of months of fun, I'm sure.

I am a step ahead of you. I went to the store yesterday! I wish I could get him to take next week off, but unfortunately he HAS to work since he has been gone so long. I am banking on him taking the week of Spring Break off. Our son will be gone for that entire week! Yay! I do not plan to leave the house that week at all! Too bad we have to wait until next month.

Sure, but the thought in this case REALLY counts. I don't think it would even occur to my girl to do anything like this.

I am a sucker. I couldn't wait until our V-Day (no-kid in the house) celebration. I gave it to him Saturday night after he got home. Needless to say, we've been having a blast! He was really surprised. I am so looking forward to our special night, this weekend. He has no idea what I have planned, but his Flip Hole Black is off limits until that night!
