Roses creep WAY up in price, and are "pushed to bloom" (die very fast) the week of Valentines day. I usually enjoy my guy buying me OTHER flowers for Valentines for that very reason. He gets me roses all the time anyway.

What do YOU enjoy on Valentines day...or do you feel it "must" be roses???

Not gonna lie....who doesn't like to get flowers...or roses for that matter. But in such a commercial-ized world on such a commercial-ized holiday, I wish dudes would be a bit more creative with their gift giving ideas. Plus, as you pointed out, they die really quick, which is sad.

ROSES are still in; but with higher costs, look at other types of flowers. I do believe women still love receiving flowers! It's the gesture that counts, and they know it!!

Last time I got a dozen flowers it was like $50. For $10 less, I'd go for a Squishable or other stuffed animal. They last a LOT longer than flowers.

I haven't gotten roses in a very long time. The last flowers I got were stargazer lilies, because they're my favorite and my husband knows how much I love them.

For Valentine's Day however, I don't think anybody is getting flowers. I'd rather have something from Sherri's Berries.
